I’ve been described as a dreamer.
I believe in traveling to see the world as much as possible. All those places have influenced how I shoot and live. As much as I loved growing up in the Midwest surrounded by corn fields and flat lands, I've ventured off to places that now have parts of my heart. Thank you Orvieto, Managua, Tacoma, Nevis, and Kona for your lovely captivating oceans and hills that sang sweet melodies of beauty to my thirsty soul. I will see you, again, soon.
I am one of those people who MUST be creating with my hands at all times. I am constantly binding books, knitting scarfs, and baking bread. Some say my hands are restless without a project but I think it's just living in an artists body.
In the twenty three years of life thus far I've seen a glimpse of heaven in three encounters that which I yearn for daily. 1. Swimming in the deep waters of the ocean 2. Sharing a long meal around the table with my friends 3. Working with my hands in the earth. My photography style encompasses my personality with its bright colors, honesty, and simplicity.
Also, that Jesus has captured my heart and I will never let Him go. He's the good one who restored my soul.
I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014 with a Photography degree. I have been shooting since I picked up my first polaroid at age 12. I currently live in Flagstaff, Arizona- there the sun shines almost everyday and there is a mountain to humble my humanity. I LOVE photographing weddings, families , and documenting what it means to be human.
